Yew Seng has over 30 years of experience as a management, technical, regulatory, investment and system engineering professional in the infocomm, telecom, electronics, defence and engineering industries. He has proven track records in leading organizations to provide successful collaboration and investment ventures, cost-effective products and services and sustainable operations, with superior results and often within tight time frames and limited budgets. His specializations include project management, product development and management, technology commercialization and investment, R&D, systems engineering (including life-cycle support and multiple disciplinary management), intellectual property management, market study and technology intelligence, regulatory and standards etc., having worked in blue-chip MNCs, GLCs, government, start-ups and academia in Singapore, USA, UK, Israel, China and Cambodia. Yew Seng is a Partner in TenX2 that provides services in start-up acceleration/scaling, consultancy for established companies and partnerships. He is also the General Manager of a Singapore-based telecom service company Arete M. He is the founding and current Management Committee Member of INCOSE Singapore Chapter, serving as its President during 2017-2019, and was inducted into its Technical Leadership Program Institute. INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering) is a not-for-profit global organization and professional society in the field of systems engineering. He also served in Exco of Association of the Telecommunications Industry of Singapore as its Honorary Secretary, and Information Technology Sub-Committee of NUSS (National University of Singapore Society). He has served as a Member of Telecom Standards Advisory Committee (TSAC) of IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore) since 2012, and was the Chair of its Wireless and Mobility Work Group. His qualifications include Master degree, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (GDBA), CSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional from INCOSE), and a Member of CFA Institute (Chartered Financial Analyst). Yew Seng is a believer in life-long learning and has recently completed the course and passed the examination for 5G Industry Practitioner (Overview) by Singapore 5G & Telecoms Academy.
